The founder of NN19, a philanthropist and also a House of Representatives aspirant for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso despite his busy schedule attended the 33rd Anniversary of the 11th Mainland Company of the Lagos Presbyterian Church, Yaba Parish Boys Brigade as the Special Guest Of Honour today.
Anyaso who was in Aba yesterday to attend father Macy shop opening after he also attended a reception held in his honour by the good people of Ezi Alayi in bende couldn’t afford to miss the 33rd Anniversary which made him to take the next available flight back to Lagos this morning.
Anyaso who is a recipient of the Forbes rated African achievers award for community development while addressing the members of the boys brigade revealed that he was once a member of the group and charged them to always be of good conducts because they are the leaders of tomorrow.
“I am happy to be here today because I see it as a privilege to address these our young boys who we are looking up to that they will soon take over from us. But you all must continue to obey the teaching of your commanders because boys brigade is built around christendom and I know that everything that is being taught in this boys brigade is what you will use to promote our Lord Jesus”
“So I want to Congratulate all of you and assure you that if you continue to do the right thing like you are being taught that success will be yours”.
“Some of us who have succeeded in life also passed through this boys brigade training and I believe that the same thing is going to be your portion as you grow old in life”.
“As you were told, I’m a member of the not too young to run Bill that was recently passed into law and the founder of NN19. We the young people have decided to take over the leadership of this country.”
“As we were told over 30 or 40 years ago that we are the leaders of tomorrow which is the same thing we are telling you people today, if after 20 or 30 years the same people that told you that you were leaders of tomorrow are still leading you, do you think that is right? This means that they lied to us or deceived us “.
“So we came together and said that we won’t accept these lies again. We have decided to take the bull by the horn. So that is why I have decided to run for the position of House of Representatives to represent the good people of Bende Federal Constituency come 2019 “.
” And by the grace of God, I am not going to represent the good people of Bende only, I’m going to represent the entire Nigerian youths which all of you belong to. So I encourage you to get your PVCs and elect those you want in to various positions,”he said.
One of the Boys Brigade officers, Lt. Kingsley Uche, who spoke with Igbere TV correspondent described Anyaso as a rare gem and a gift to the people of Bende.
“Anyaso is a young man who should be trusted by the good people of Bende looking at his pedigree. He is a God fearing vibrant energetic guy who should be given a chance to represent Bende people. ”
” So I urge the good people of Bende to
make sure they massively vote for Anyaso come 2019 because he is a rare gem and a gift to them because he won’t disappoint them.
“We want to thank him because despite he is a busy young man, he didn’t disappoint us. So we know he won’t disappoint Bende people after 2019 election, “he said.
After the event, Anyaso attended another event in Lagos tagged” “Abia Creative Industry” where he was the Chairman of the event. Governor Okezie Ikpeazu was also invited to the same event.
