Report reaching Igbere Tv newsroom from Iran indicates there’s ongoing heavy protest against the continued incarceration of the Nigerian Shiite leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El Zakzaky.
Igbere Tv yesterday, November 7 reported that a Kaduna State High Court sitting in the state capital denied El Zakzaky’s bail application filed by counsel to the leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria and his wife.
Free Zakzaky Protest in Iran
The Presiding Judge, Justice Gideon Kurada in his ruling on Wednesday, said the accused persons have not shown any substantial medical evidence to grant them bail in their written application.
The judge however ordered that the two accused persons should remain in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) throughout the period of their trial.
