Fakiyesi, the Chief Executive Officer of Famolex Integrated Consult, spoke at a seminar on GMAT Africa Career Readiness Programme (GACRP), organised by the company at the Fountain University campus, Osogbo.
He said that the programme was aimed at making graduates more analytical, with ability for sound verbal reasoning, which they needed to excel in their future careers.
Fakiyesi said that the programme would also provide rare leadership skills and business knowledge, including networking tools, in existing and prospective graduates.
“These seminars will help graduating students become aware of the GMAT exam and the developmental value of GMAT preparation, i.e., acquire reasoning and analytical skills that are in high demand by both graduate management programs and employers.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Abdulateef Usman, said that the university management recognised the fundamental philosophy of creating sound personalities in the students through qualitative and verbal reasoning.
Usman was represented by the Dean, School of Post Graduate Studies, Prof. Goke Lalude.
